Horror Hall – For over 40 years, Horror Hall located in West Nanticoke has been a source of scares and screams for patrons who seek a thrilling Halloween experience. Visit the indoor attraction and be prepared for thrills and chills!

October 2023 introduces new and updated scares for Horror Hall, so be sure to visit the Horror Hall and join the fun. Horror Hall is open every weekend in October.


Reaper’s Revenge – Journey to Scranton for a terrifying Halloween experience at Reaper’s Revenge. Hosting five different attractions dedicated to sending chills down your spine and adrenaline through your veins, Reaper’s Revenge is a must for horror fans and Halloween enthusiasts. 

During your time at Reaper’s Revenge, you can experience a Haunted Hayride through Reaper’s Forest, a journey through the Lost Carnival, the altered reality of Delirium, a trip to through the abandoned Pitch Black Incorporated factory, and a scare-packed radioactive maze in Sector 13. Order your tickets today and test your fate at Reaper’s Revenge this Halloween season.


Gravestone Manor – Located in Plains just past the Woodlands Inn, Gravestone Manor offers a unique Halloween theatrical experience. You and the audience will travel through the set, experiencing scares and screams while you become part of the story. 
The Gravestone Manor hosts productions every October and is entirely comprised of volunteers who wish to make your Halloween special and memorable. Be sure to check out their 2023 production, as it will be their 22nd Halloween performance. Gravestone Manor opens September 29th and will perform every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through October 29th.


Hell’s Nightmares Haunted Attraction – Travel to Dallas this Halloween season for a spooky outdoor experience at Hell’s Nightmares. The spirits have awakened this season and have released all sorts of Halloween delights for you to enjoy. Hitch a ride on a haunted hayride or search for monsters in the dead of night. The fun is up to you at Hell’s Nightmares Haunted Attraction.
Hell’s Nightmares opens late September and runs through early November, so be sure to order tickets and join the fun! The real nightmare would be missing out on this thrilling Halloween experience!


Zebulon Butler House Investigation – Originally constructed in 1793, the Zebulon Butler House was in use from the Revolutionary War all the way up to the Civil War. But did the Butler family ever truly leave? Form a paranormal investigation team and track down clues to find out!
Join Tony Brooks of the Wilkes-Barre Preservation Society and the Wyoming Valley Ghost Tours and determine if there is anything paranormal still roaming the halls of this historic building. Who knows what you and your team will discover? Kick off your Halloween season with this ghost hunt on September 29.


LBC Spirited Symposiums – In the mood for some drinks and scary stories? LBC Distillery has you covered with “Spirited Symposium”, where you can gather with others and enjoy stories while enjoying refreshing cocktails.

This October, LBC is presenting Halloween-focused stories for Spirited Symposium, so be sure to stop on by, grab a drink, and settle in for spooky stories throughout the month. Presentations during the month include:

  • Suscon’s Strange and Unusual History with Stan Zurek - October 6th.
  • Italian Witchcraft in Modern America with Vinny Gaglione - October 13th.
  • Paranormal Encounter Stories hosted with Wyoming Valley Ghost Tours - October 19th.
  • Ghost Stories and Macabre Local History with Bill Lewis - October 26th.

Halloween Emo Night – You’re invited to Emo Night to join in celebrating their first ever Halloween event: Hallowemo! Located at the Woodlands Inn, attendees can jam out to their favorite music, including pop punk, emo, and screamo, and partake in a costume contest for a chance to win cash prizes. 

The party starts at 8:00 PM on Friday, October 27th. Tickets can be ordered online. Must be 21+ to enter.


Halloween Blood Vial Scavenger Hunt – The hunt is on at the Skirmish Armory this Halloween season. Hundreds of blood vials have been hidden throughout the facility and attendees can search for them while enjoying paintball. Every vial redeemed earns a free pass to use at the Skirmish Armory. The more you collect, the more you win, so visit Skirmish Armory for this Halloween-themed scavenger hunt.

Scavenger hunt dates are October 28th-29th. Call (570) 325-8430 to book tickets or order online. Halloween Blood Vial Scavenger Hunt is for anyone ages 10 and up.


Rocky Horror Picture Show – It’s time to do the Time Warp again! The cult classic “Rocky Horror Picture Show” returns to the F.M. Kirby Center for the Halloween season. Playing at the F.M. Kirby Center, experience the off-the-wall shenanigans of this musical sci-fi horror satire starring Tim Curry.

 “Rocky Horror Picture Show” will be playing at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, October 29th at 8:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30 PM. (Disclaimer: R Rating)


Murder at the Music Box – Visit the Music Box Dinner Theater in Swoyersville for the production of “Girls’ Night Out”! A dinner party ends up going wrong and restauranteur Everett McAlister ends up dead. With a murder mystery afoot, you will be able to interact with the actors and help them solve this murder mystery while dining. Will you be able to help the actors find out whodunnit?

Performance dates are October 20th-22nd and October 27th-29th. The performance begins at 6:00 PM. There is no “show only” option for the event; dinner is included in the event.


Midnight at the Masquerade – When a murder occurs at the Billionaires’ Club Annual Masquerade Ball, it’s up to the guests to work together and solve this mystery. Hosted in Scranton, attendees will dress in fine evening wear, speak to guests and trade information and clues, and work together to solve this mystery and unmask the killer before they make their escape.

Doors open and dinner begins at 6:30 PM and the murder mystery performance begins at 7:30 PM. Order tickets online or call (570) 969-7669 for more information.


Wilkes-Scarre Weekend – Celebrate the Halloween season during the Wilkes-Scarre Weekend in Downtown Wilkes-Barre! From October 26th through the 31st, attendees can compete in the Halloween Costume Contest Party, partake in the Zombie Bar Crawl, and dance to music provided by our live DJs.
